Expansive decks, private cabins – ample room for every generation.
With expansive teak decks, hidden shaded seating areas, sumptuous ensuite and air-conditioned cabins, leading interior and exterior design as well as a very big pool(!), our fully-crewed gulets offer the perfect platform for an unforgettable vacation.
Why consider a gulet over a villa
Chartering a gulet with Salamander Voyages has all the facilities, and more, of a private villa with the benefit of an ever-changing view. Salamander gulets each have an experienced captain and a talented chef supported by deckhands available around the clock to cater to your every need. You can relax and unwind, knowing we will provide cocktails at sunset, the very best regionally-inspired menus, endless selected wines along with anything your family or guests might need while staying with us.
Anchor in an empty turquoise bay and make the most of the onboard water toys, take the tender ashore to explore the ancient ruins or local souks, hike to a crusader castle or challenge the chef to backgammon.
There truly is something for everyone.
Facilities on-board
Sleeping 8 – 14 guests, all cabins come equipped with modern ensuite bathrooms, plenty of hot water, air-conditioning and the finest bedding.
With bright saloons, sunbed decks, a wide tented stern and dining area as well as countless other areas of the yacht to escape when you want to unwind with a book or boardgame, our gulets offer all the space of a family villa with a different view every day and wide range of activities and excursions provided for you.
Each gulet has its own powerful tender to ferry you ashore or take you water-skiing. There are a a selection of onboard water toys to choose from, from sailing dinghies to paddle boards to kayaks to snorkelling gear.
Salamander Voyages offer space and activities for every generation.
Fully-crewed
We curate each charter to the individual needs and requirements of your guests. In full consultation with you, the Captain will tailor your charter to your party’s specific interests and activities, providing complete reassurance and security for every member of your party.
Understanding your dietary preferences and requirements, the private chefs will amaze you with delicious, flexible and varied menus whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
The deckhands manage all services above and below decks, whether that’s cleaning the gulet; bringing you a cold beer before lunch; launching the water toys for an afternoon of fun; making-up the cabins each day; setting the table and serving the meals; or pouring you a night cap.
Our onshore manager provides a full concierge service throughout your stay with us, from a warm welcome aboard, introductions to your on-board team, booking on-shore activities, sourcing wine or organising your transfers. They will be in contact throughout your stay with us.
A new horizon every day
A week with Salamander Voyages will take you to empty bays, bustling seaside towns, crusader castles and stunning seascapes. Your itinerary will be focused on your interests and activities and is completely bespoke. It can be as busy or relaxed as you like.
Some charter groups may have a particular interest in the local history and culture which will lead them on a magical journey via historic ruins, visits to unspoilt villages, nature hikes as well as local food markets and bazaars.
Others may prefer a slower week: having time to catch-up with family or friends while soaking up the ever-changing scenery. Perhaps finally getting the opportunity to read a book or play cards in the evening light while gently meandering down the coastline.
Often guests are focused on the endless water sports on offer: from paddle boarding, kayaking and dinghy sailing to water-skiing, wake boarding, sea scooters, diving and parasailing.
No two days are the same unless you choose them to be.
Peace of mind for all
We offer a holiday experience suitable for all age groups, from small grandchildren to elderly grandparents. Gulets are broad and stable with wide side decks, surrounded by high side rails. Their motion is slow and gentle and when anchored their weight makes them quietly relaxing.
The Captain’s first responsibility is the safety and security of all his guests. He will ensure he finds the most tranquil spots, out of the breeze and away from the crowds.
Although very rarely needed, each gulet has a full medical kit and the captain is fully-qualified in first aid. Should there be a medical emergency, the fast and reliable tender can take guests to and from shore within minutes while our onshore concierge organises transport to the nearest and most appropriate, excellent quality medical facility nearby.
Our focus is always on the safety and enjoyment of everyone onboard.
