We are thrilled to introduce the Salamander experience in Montenegro from 2019 onwards. We can offer you an exclusive Salamander gulet charter on one of our two partner boats, Sadri Usta 1 and Baba Veli 8. With a developing tourist scene, Montenegro is best experienced from the sea and offers a wide range of ancient cities, traditional towns and fashionable developments.

The country is famed for its beautiful beaches and coastal towns. There is plenty of sun, relaxation, culture and delicious cuisine in Montenegro, and your private crew are dedicated to ensuring the experience is one to remember.

Our Montenegro gulets are more modern than our Salamander gulet. Sadri Usta 1 was built in 2005 and Baba Veli 8 was built in 2003. Both of these gulets are traditional and offer plenty of space and luxury for you and your guests.

The route begins in Tivat and follows the orange route to Bar, before returning to Tivat via the white route.

Starting in the glamorous Porto Montenegro, your journey will progress through the bay of Boka Kotor. From there to Budva, there are the serene bays of Dobra Luka and Jaz Bay to relax, sunbathe and swim at. Budva itself is an ancient town filled with museums, galleries, restaurants and bars.

Our Montenegrin cruise stops at Pecin, or Queen’s Beach, named for the Montenegrin queen who used to swim here, and Maljevik beach, which is full of hidden beaches, coves and pine trees. This will bring you to Bar, where you can visit the 2,500-year-old ruins of Stari Bar, where you can enjoy dinner either here or in Bar itself.

Returning back up the Adriatic coast, you will be taken to the highly exclusive island of Sveti Stephan. This island is a hotspot for the rich and famous and has attracted the likes of the Beckhams and Oprah Winfrey. Your gulet will then move on to the clear, calm waters of Trsteno for more swimming time, with the option of watersports activities for the thrill-seekers on board.

Your exclusive cruise will take you to a number of luxurious bays including Bigova, Herceg Novi and Zabrdie. You can tour an olive farm at Savina, visit the famous church on the island of Our Lady of the Rocks and even scale the walls of the old city of Kotor for a once in a lifetime experience in the Mediterranean sun.

Throughout your exclusive charter across the scenic coastlines of Montenegro, you will be accompanied by your own private, friendly gulet crew, including your own chef.

Our crew are all experienced and knowledgeable of Montenegro and its locations. This ensures you will be able to visit all of the local hotspots and the more secretive, quieter locations. Our staff are here for you to ask any questions and can give you any local recommendations or advice you may need.
