2011 has been another fantastic season for Salamander- see our customer review for our first 4 week charter to one party and they are coming back!
We are almost unique in having had yet another full season (25 weeks sold of a possible 26), a real testament to our truly excellent crew and local management in Turkey. In this difficult global economic environment in almost all business areas the middle market has evaporated, leaving only the cheap and cheerful at the bottom end and the real good value quality product at a fair but higher price at the top end. We are proud to be that top end product, but at a very competitive price as we do everything without recourse to agencies and ther fees.
2012 is already booking fast. Please contact us urgently to secure your place on one of the best gulet experiences in the Med for next year!

After 26 weeks of hard work but enormous fun, Salamander's highly successful season finished on 1st November. She was hauled out of the water in late November and is now being prepared for her winter maintenance. As with all wooden gulets, there is always plenty to do. Ercan has stayed on to run the refit. Captain Mehmet has gone home to Maze to work on his olive farm, and Chef Murat has joined his family for the winter in Kas. All have agreed to come back for the 2011 season, which is excellent news!
Gokhan has returned to Bodrum to get the refit started and agree action plans with key suppliers, but rejoins his family in Wales for Christmas. An enormous thanks is due to him and all the crew for all that did in 2010 to make such a successful season.
We will launch again in April, and already have most weeks of 2011 booked, but please do call if you are interested and we can discuss our free weeks.

As Salamander completes her 26th consecutive week of sailing the final group of guests enjoy tuna fishing in Gokova. Its been another amazing season thanks to all our lovely clients, repeat and new! Everyone loved the new cuisine under chef Murat, and the relaxed atmosphere under the command of captain Mehmet and his crew Ercan and Mehmet (the 2nd!). Hopefully they will all be back for 2011.
The business goes from strength to strength and is growing a significant following all over the world. In 2010 we had parties from UK, USA, Australia, Spain, Sweden, New Zealand amongst others. many had been with us before. Please contact us on enquiries@salamandervoyages.com if you would like to learn more.
Salamander will soon be hauled out for her winter refit to be ready for 2011, and we already have a pretty full season, so please contact us quickly if looking for our remaining spaces. Whilst we will not be running Artemisia as a second boat in 2011, we can still arrange for her when required, and can arrange other wonderful gulets on request.
If you are interested in helping put together special interest cruises in early or late season please let us know- we can arrange special interest voyages with qualified instructors/guides in Pilates, Yoga, Painting & Drawing, Bridge & Archeology and so on.

Salamander is again fully sold out for 2010 and well booked already for 2011! We have had one cancellation for week commencing Monday 11th October 2010 due to a change in family circumstances, and are delighted to offer this for resale. Please contact us immediately on enquiries@salamandervoyages.com if you wish to consider this week.
The season has started really well, with all our upgrades making a huge difference. Have a look at our latest customer reviews. We can't ask for better than that! Jenny & I were on board in early May, and we had a fabulous week with 10 friends, and even found the ruins of the lost city of Phoenix. Ask the Captain to take you there if you want to see something unspoilt and completely different.

Salamander was hauled out of the water at Ortakent boatyard at the start of December 2009 for her customary refit. We were almost last out of the water, to allow us to be first in for the start of another busy season. We have a long list of improvements along with the usual maintenance and expect our returning clients to be even more impressed than usual when they join us again next season!
We are delighted to announce that we have secured exclusive charter arrangements on 'Artemisia' for 2010. Built in Germany, Artemisia is a cross between a gulet and a large cruising yacht, offering the best features of both. We are having the aft deck remodelled to provide the relaxing cushioned area found on Salamander! The 6 cabins and bathrooms are especially comfortable, and the saloon a delight. She offers 2 very large double cabins, 2 cabins with a pair of bunks, and 2 forward cabins with slightly smaller double beds. She is suitable for 10 adults, or 2 families of up to 12 with young children. Please email us for more details of this lovely small ship which particularly suits those who like to major on sailing.

JANUARY 2012
The winter refit for 2012 is already well underway, and we expect to be back in the water fully prepared in mid April, when we have a corporate booking. Bookings for the coming season are already strong, but we still have some remaining opportunities and hope to hear from you if we can be of help!
NOVEMBER 2011 season is drawing to a successful closer, and yet again Salamander is effectively working for 25 weeks, something most charter operators would die for! This is a great tribute to our superb crew and local management in Turkey. Have a look at the client reviews for 2011 and see evidence that we do go the extra mile for our clients, and are proud to do so! We have just hasd our first 4 week charter to one family (see our reviews), and they are already planning to come again in 2012.
In this difficult global economy the middle market for most products and services has just evaporated. All that is left is 'cheap and cheerful' or high quality/high price. We are proud to be the latter but with a twist- because we do all our own bookings we do not incur a significant agency fee, thus are substantially better value than other genuine quality charterers.
We believe our success is a carefully crafted combination of
