Don’t forget your insurance policy when sailing Turkey.
There is a simple medical kit on board, but please make sure you bring any private medicines that are specific to your needs. Also do bring lots of suncream, aftersun, insect repellent and bite/sting relief. These tend to be quite expensive locally.

Safety equipment

Never forget the power of the sea, even on board gulets in Turkey is no different from any other coastal nation, the sea can change its mood at a moments notice. We have lifejackets under the beds for sailing in Turkey, and a liferaft on deck. We have a VHF radio and navigation equipment, and we have fire extinguishers in all cabins. We also have Radar, a GPS Plotter and a life raft. Above all we have a trained and skillful crew.
